This study provides hydrogen gas fuel as a renewable energy source. The production of H2 was carried out through the photocatalytic decomposition sewage water using highly efficient poly(m-toluidine) (PMT)/rolled graphene oxide (roll-GO) photoelectrode. preparation PMT thin film on glass in situ electropolymerization reaction from an acid medium. Then, roll-GO deposited this casting method GO solution. full characteristic analyses Fourier-transform infrared, X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscope, transmitted and UV-Vis spectroscopy confirmed chemical structural, morphological, optical properties prepared nanomaterials. morphology formation nanopores PMT, rolled GO, porous nanocomposite. bandgap values for roll-GO, PMT/roll-GO nanomaterials were 2.38, 2.67, 1.65 eV, respectively. generation photoelectrode glass/PMT/roll-GO with current density (Jph) value 0.08 mA.cm−2 at +1 V, moles 10 μmole/h.cm−2. Jph changed 0.078 to 0.053 changing monochromatic light wavelengths 390 636 nm, Moreover, increased 0.295 which is followed by increase temperature 20°C 60°C, thermodynamic parameters calculated, Ea, ΔS*, ΔH* 27.3 kJ/mol, 188.3 J/mol.K, 24.7 wettability studied films, contact angles 92° 41°, Finally, mechanism used explanation water-splitting under light.
